  • Lighting design
  • Colour and paint schemes
  • Installation supervision

Who this is for

Homeowners finishing a new build, property owners refreshing an existing interior, and commercial clients fitting out retail or hospitality spaces.

Specifying interiors against real availability

An interior scheme is only as good as what can actually be delivered to site. Specifying a finish with a sixteen-week import lead time into a build that completes in ten is how handover dates slip, so we specify against what is genuinely available and flag the items that need ordering months ahead.

That constraint is also an opportunity. Local hardwood joinery, stone and brick are available at a quality and price that imported equivalents cannot match, and a scheme built around them reads as deliberate rather than compromised. We tend to put the budget into the elements you touch daily — joinery, ironmongery, lighting — and take it out of things that photograph well and wear badly.

Because we also build, the scheme is costed as it is drawn. An interior designed in isolation routinely specifies details that the build cannot deliver at the price assumed; here the joinery detail and the budget are reconciled before you approve the scheme, not after.

How we run it

  1. 01

Brief and how you actually live

How the space gets used, by how many people, and what currently fails about it. This drives more of the specification than any mood board.

  2. 02

    Concept and material direction

Material palette, finishes and lighting approach presented together, so you see the scheme as a whole rather than as a list of products.

  3. 03

    Specification and costing

Every item specified with a real supplier and a real lead time, costed before approval. Long-lead items are identified for early ordering.

  4. 04

    Joinery detailing

Bespoke joinery drawn and detailed for fabrication, so what is installed matches what was drawn.

  5. 05

    Installation supervision

We supervise installation rather than handing drawings to a third party and hoping. Site decisions get made by the people who specified the scheme.

What this looks like built

The Carrick Creagh Pool Pavilion carries an outdoor kitchen, bar and wine wall with a sunken lounge and timber screening — a scheme where the joinery, the stone and the lighting were specified alongside the structure that holds them. The marble island and the timber screens were detailed for fabrication rather than bought off a shelf, which is why the proportions sit correctly against the off-shutter concrete behind them.

Common questions

Do you take interior work without the construction?
Yes. Interior design runs as a standalone service on residential and commercial projects, as well as the finishing stage of a build we are already delivering.
Do you supply the furniture and fittings?
We specify and procure fittings, joinery, lighting and finishes as part of the scheme, with each item carrying a named supplier and lead time so nothing is specified that cannot arrive on programme.
Can you work with imported finishes?
Yes, provided they are identified early. Imported items are ordered at procurement stage rather than when the building is ready for them, because lead times here are long enough to hold up a handover.
